If you’ve wondered what was happening at the back of City Hall, this area of the building had a flat roof that leaked for years despite many attempts to stop the leaks. During the demolition it was discovered there were three layers of asphalt underneath the metal roof, all of which were added to try and correct a bad design. It now has a sloped roof and should be trouble free for many years.
