OSHA 10-Hour Hazard Awareness Training Class

Sponsored by the Flathead Building Association & Kalispell Job Service.

Dates/Times:     Wednesday, June 24th 8:00am-4:00pm &

Thursday, June 25th 8:00am-2:00pm

Cost: Free to attend!

Offered as a public service by Montana Department of Labor & Industry.

Registration: Advanced registration is required, class size limited to 25.

The 2-day class will provide an orientation to OSHA safety standards and will include an overview of the hazards workers may encounter on construction sites. Identification and control of hazards is essential to preventing workplace injuries.

The 10-hour training program is primarily intended for entry level workers. It will include what is required of them, and what is required of employers. Topics will include hazard awareness of electricity, falls, PPE, excavation, scaffolding and ladders.

Those who complete the course will earn an OSHA card from the U.S. Department of Labor.
