According to the Missoulian, Missoula County officials have announced that they are launching a survey this week to gather information from citizens on their quality of life. The survey also asks about the delivery of county services, safety, transportation, the economy, and the natural environment.

The county is teaming up with the National Research Center to host the survey. The Missoulian reports that a recent press release revealed the nature of the survey; it is designed to help county leaders assess the needs of the communities they serve.

In the release, commissioner chair Josh Slotnick said the COVID-19 pandemic has made it clear to the people what they need from their leaders.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has made it more clear than ever that we need to make sure we’re delivering county services and meeting the needs of our residents in the most effective, efficient way possible,” said Slotnick.

The survey asks residents to rate their government's work performance and asks if the infrastructure is being maintained properly.
