Our new AmeriCorps Vista member, Alyssa, will arrive in January and we are reaching out to the entire NVFB family to look for housing for her. AmeriCorps Vistas live on a small stipend and her budget for a room is $500. We know it’s a big ask in a community where housing is a major challenge for many! You most probably have met Carly and Maddie, our two amazing AmeriCorps members from the last two years. They contributed significantly to our operations with both a Community Needs Assessment and a new Harvesting and Gleaning program that will help the community for years to come.
