Lincoln County seeks applicants for multiple board vacancies ahead of April appointments

Lincoln County has announced vacancies on several of its boards, inviting interested and qualified residents to apply for open positions. The available roles include two seats on the Tax Appeal Board with terms expiring in December 2028. There are also openings for permanent residents from specific districts and areas, including one position in the Eureka FSA district expiring in April 2029, and two positions each for Libby Park, LC Rural Fire, McCormick Fire, Trego/Fortine/Stryker FSA (with staggered expiration dates), Troy Park, Troy Rural Fire, and Upper Yaak FSA. Additionally, there is one opening on the Bull Lake Rural Fire board that expires in June 2026.

Residents who wish to be considered must submit an application or a letter of interest by Friday, March 20, 2026, before 5:00 p.m. Materials should be sent to Corrina Brown at the Lincoln County Clerk and Recorder’s office at 512 California Avenue in Libby.

Appointments will be made during a meeting scheduled for April 29, 2026, at the Commissioner’s Meeting Room 108 at the courthouse located at the same address.
